Customer Care Policies

Warranty Policy

At Ri So Woodworks, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our woodwork. All of our wooden décor and custom projects are covered under the following warranty terms:

  • Craftsmanship Guarantee: If a customer identifies a defect or issue within 30 days of delivery or pickup that is a result of our workmanship or a manufacturing error, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to the customer.

  • Error Correction: If a mistake is made by us during the construction process (e.g., incorrect measurements or misapplied finishes), we will gladly correct or fix the issue free of charge, as long as it is fixable.

  • Transportation Damage:

    • If we deliver the item and it is damaged during our transport, we will fix or replace it at no cost.

    • If the customer transports the item and it becomes damaged in transit, the customer is responsible for any repair or replacement costs.

  • Customer-Caused Damage: Damage caused by misuse, accidents, alterations, or improper handling by the customer is not covered under this warranty. We are happy to offer repair services at a reasonable rate.

  • Project Rejection: If a customer chooses to reject a custom item or project after it has been completed, the following terms apply:

    • The customer is still responsible for 100% of the signed estimate’s material/lumber costs.

    • Only 70% of the labor cost will be charged in such cases.

    • However, if the issue is due to a mistake on our part and is fixable, rejection is not required—we will fix the issue at no cost to the customer.

  • Final Payment Terms: Payment for all items and projects is due in full at the time of delivery or pickup.

Return Policy

Because each of our pieces is handcrafted and often customized, all sales are final.

  • Returns and refunds are not accepted unless a manufacturing or craftsmanship error on our part is identified and verified.

  • If such an error is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item as appropriate at no cost to the customer.

  • Minor variations in wood grain, color, and natural imperfections are not considered defects—they are part of the uniqueness of handmade wooden goods.

Please inspect your order upon delivery or pickup and contact us within 30 days if you believe an issue is present.
